Congratulations to Ethan and Bridget!

This last Saturday, Ethan proposed to his girlfriend Bridget. They have been dating for five years and were both busy with school, but we knew this was coming and were excited to hear when it would happen!

During Ethan’s recent visits to the hospital, Bridget never left his side. Ann and I traded off being in the room with him over the course of six or seven days total, but Bridget was there every minute. She was interacting with the medical team, making sure they understood what the doctors were doing, asking questions, and making sure they knew what to do once released. Ann said she was very glad that Bridget was there!

Ethan was released from the hospital on Friday, and proposed the next day at a beautiful lakefront location in Rockwall. We love Bridget and her family and could not be more happy for them both.

Please keep them in your prayers, including their plans for a wedding. Having a liver transplant at an unspecified time in the near future makes any kind of detailed planning a challenge. We pray they are able to work out a plan that includes all the moving pieces.
